Chat Rules

First off Chat will have more freedom than the forums, as the forums are stricter to keep tidy and clean. This means Staff will be more relaxed in Chat than if it were on-site. Even so, users must abide by the rules.

Chat Rules

1) Spam: Keep spam to a minimum in the chat, please. We all know Chat will get crazy at times and will have a little spam, which everyone will be fine with, so long as it is not too spammy.

2) Swearing: This rule will not change however. Only "hell" and "damn" are allowed here, and in moderation, too. Anything past that will be an instant Chat ban (Length depends on severity of the language, and the banning member's discretion) and possible site ban.

3) Text Colors: For everyone's sakes, absolutely NO neon colors. They, for one, do poorly to show up on a light background. It also is tough to read, not to mention can hurt people's eyes. If you use a neon color, you WILL be asked to change to an eye friendly color, failure to do so results in a chat kick, which allows you to come back immediately, but grabs your attention. If you should, at this point, ignore Staff or refuse to change color, you will receive a short Chat Ban.

4) Be Respectful: Do not be disrespectful, rude, or offensive to another user or Staff member in any way, shape or form. This will NOT be tolerated and will get you banned from chat, and if severe enough, i.e. verbal or sexual harrassment, etc., a site ban will be issued.

5) Off-Site Links: Please do not post any off-site links without Staff permission. This is to prevent random links to YouTube, google images, etc. that leads to inappropriate and/or explicit content. If permission is granted, and you are posting a YouTube video, check the comments below the video. If there is inappropriate language in the comments, DO NOT post.

6) Mini-ModdingPlease do not moderate at any given time, on the Chat, if you are not an Admin, SuperMod, Moderator, or ChatMod . We have these Staff positions for a reason, and that's to prevent chaos between users who start fights between one another over the rules. This means Artists, and Normal users may NOT mod the Chat, unless they are a ChatMod.

7) Chat Commands: Please do not spam the Chat Commands, this ends up flooding the chat with nonsense, so please don't do it. Also, only use the appropriate commands. Do not use commands that you have no right to be using, i.e. /kick if you are not ChatMod rank or higher. List of Chat Commands, as well as who may use what command are in the Chat Commands thread.
